Shown below, Semantex Discover™ is a robust and scalable multilingual faceted search application that combines the Apache Solr-Lucene enterprise search server with Semantex™ extraction for powerful customizable search and drill-down. 

It provides a search engine with a web-based interface that allows drill down by pre-populated entity mentions, event and relationship categories, and multilingual name and event translations, in addition to keyword searching in a simple yet sophisticated interface.

Semantex Discover™ is customizable to support a variety of facets such as new entity types, sentiment, theme, etc.

Semantex Discover™ leverages the Semantex™ text analytics system to tag entity mentions with their entity type and translation, event mentions with their event category and translation, as well as relationships in each document. The Semantex™-tagged documents are in turn indexed by a customized version of the Solr-Lucene search server that indexes not only keywords, but also facets such as People and Event Categories.

Semantex™ provides sophisticated event categorization that recognizes, tags and translates a variety of verb and non-verb possibilities for events of the same type (e.g., attack). This is especially useful for triage on multilingual document collections.
