Improving Machine Translation

Machine translation (i.e., automatic translation from one language to another) software frequently fail to correctly translate proper names. Semantex™ can provide the language-aware and context-aware recognition and translation of named entities to significantly improve machine translation. 

 

Semantex™ entity extraction from foreign language text can detect and pre-tag proper names of people, organizations, and locations, which can then be fed to machine translation engines. Providing contextual translation of these pre-tagged terms enables significant improvements in the quality of the machine translation output, especially for domain specific translation.
