TCSI, Janya collaborate on contract for the Defense Intelligence Agency

Total Computer Solutions Inc., (TCSI) was awarded a contract from the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) to provide advanced information capture, entity and relationship extraction, and content analysis services. A key component of the TCSI solution is the Semantex™ information discovery platform developed by Janya Inc. (a subcontractor to TCSI for this effort). The Semantex platform incorporates a hybrid model of information extraction, combining statistical, lexical and grammatical approaches, to detect entities, attributes, relationships and events. “We are pleased that Semantex has served the needs of TCSI and the DIA in this critical intelligence application” said Rohini Srihari, CEO of Janya Inc.
